Joe Pepper

Joe joined PEXA in October 2023, bringing over 25 years of business process re-engineering experience across the financial, legal and property sectors – the last 10 years in delivering technology solutions to the UK conveyancing and lending markets.
Previously he was Chief Executive Officer of TM Group, a leading proptech company where he spearheaded the company’s growth. His other key executive roles include Managing Director of EDM Mortgage Support Services; Business Development Director for RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions; and banking operations and sales executive roles with UBS Investment Bank and ABN Amro.

Krystle Kocik

In this newly created role, Krystle will hold accountability for global product development and strategy.
Having joined PEXA Australia in 2011, Krystle joined the PEXA team in the UK as Chief Product and Experience Officer as the Group established itself and expanded in the UK market.  Krystle was accountable for the end-to-end design and delivery of the PEXA platform, the UK’s first digital housing completion platform.  Working closely with lenders, housing solicitors and conveyancers, the Bank of England and His Majesty’s Land Registry, the platform is now being rolled out across the UK market.
Krystle has close to 20 years’ experience in product and digital transformation across the property technology and financial services industries in Australia and the UK, having worked with Accenture, Westpac, Lloyds Banking Group, ETS Europe and ANZ. She holds an Honours degree in Computing Science and Technology from the University of Sydney and has also recently completed an executive management program at INSEAD Business School in Europe.

Simon Wright

Simon has almost 30 years’ financial services experience, leading strategy, operations, and customer teams.  He spent the majority of his banking career at CYBG PLC (now Virgin Money UK PLC), where the roles undertaken have created a unique blend of commercial, strategy, operations, payments, distribution (Personal and Business), change and transformation experience. He was latterly Director of Operations and Enablement and also led its Customer Banking Centres. 
A resourceful, authentic and innovative leader, Simon has built a strong reputation for strategy development and delivery whilst developing engaged and committed teams.  Simon joined PEXA in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer in the UK.

Nitesh Thadani

Nitesh joined PEXA in January 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience in technology leadership, specialising in FinTech and SaaS businesses. He has an extensive background in the UK mortgage industry, having delivered technology integrations with major lenders such as NatWest and Nationwide.
As a collaborative and forward-thinking leader, Nitesh is passionate about leveraging technology, data, and AI to transform industries. He has a strong track record of scaling organisations by fostering high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of innovation.
Before joining PEXA, Nitesh held senior roles at organisations including Mojo Mortgages, ThoughtWorks, Barclays, and Smartr365. His career spans global markets, with experience across the UK, US, India, and Australia, where he has led large-scale technology transformations, product launches, and data-driven innovations in the financial services and regulated sectors.

Noelle Doherty

Noelle joined PEXA in July 2025 and holds accountability for Finance and Risk functions.
She brings with her over 25 years’ experience in financial services organisations across a broad range of businesses at various growth stages and a diverse range of asset classes, including mortgages, fintech, banking, professional services, wealth &amp; asset management sectors.
Before joining PEXA, Noelle has held senior roles at various UK and international businesses, leading teams across strategic and transformation agendas. She is passionate about driving inclusion, learning and career development initiatives in organisations and supporting women in their financial services careers.
Noelle is a Fellow member of ICAEW and holds a LLB Law &amp; Accounting degree.

Matthew Joy

Matt joined PEXA in March 2024 and brings with him almost 35 years experience in the UK&#8217;s property industry. The last 16 years of his career have been in Sales and Marketing roles across market leading property search and data companies. His strengths include building great work-life cultures, encouraging growth through hard work, collaboration and providing clear and precise direction.
Matt is passionate about providing great customer experience and believes that the most successful companies have cultures built around obsessing over their employees and clients needs alike.

Verdi Taylor-Bishop

Verdi joined PEXA in March 2024 bringing over twenty years of marketing experience with the last fifteen years in the property sector, across both B2B and B2C audiences, in senior marketing roles for companies such as BuildStore Financial Services Ltd, The National Self Build &amp; Renovation Centre and tmgroup where she helped to drive significant growth and change plans.
Verdi has worked with everyone from Government bodies, Local Authorities and industry trade associations, to lenders, brokers, conveyancers, estate agents, architects and surveyors always adopting a customer centric approach to drive mutually beneficial results for all involved.

Parisha Kanani

Parisha joined PEXA in September 2023 and brings with her 25 years of financial services experience across the banking, asset/wealth management, VC/PE, payments and fintech sectors.
As an executive leader, Parisha has led international legal teams and multi-disciplinary functions including corporate governance and secretariat. She has also acted as a board adviser, company secretary and director to businesses.
Before joining PEXA, Parisha held executive positions as the most senior legal and governance adviser at Reach plc, Octopus Investments, First Sentier Investments/Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Jefferies Investment Bank, responsible for managing enterprise risk including legal, regulatory and governance matters. Parisha is passionate about delivering excellent business-aligned strategic results and building and leading diverse high-performing teams.
As well as being a qualified UK solicitor, Parisha holds an MBA from London Business School and is a Fellow of the RSA. Parisha is also a STEM Ambassador for the London Hub and a UN Women – UK Delegate.

James Foster

James joined PEXA in March 2025 as Director of Lender Sales, bringing extensive experience in financial services, technology, and strategic growth. Most recently at Gartner, he was working with senior leaders across the industry on market intelligence, go-to-market strategy, and digital transformation, helping businesses navigate change and drive commercial success. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Nationwide Building Society and Mortgage Brain, shaping sales strategies and fostering key industry partnerships.
James is excited to be joining PEXA UK at such a pivotal time, as the company transforms the UK’s property settlement process through digital innovation. He looks forward to working with lenders to drive greater efficiency, security, and transparency in mortgage transactions, helping to shape the future of homebuying in the UK.

Paul Albone

Paul is a forward thinking and innovative Technology Leader and Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in the property services and technology sectors. Holding a range of board positions as a Non-Exec Director in multiple trade organisations he has chaired the development of data standards through the PISCES (OSCRE) organisation as well as the Legal Software Suppliers Association. In his career he has built and led IT service businesses in the Telecoms and Property sectors and has functional expertise in Technology, Development, Operations, and wider Exec management roles.

Sir Roger Marsh

Sir Roger Marsh, former Chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) until 2022, led significant transformations and secured over £2bn in investments for the region. Recognised with an OBE in 2015 and a knighthood in 2021, he also serves as a Deputy Lieutenant for West Yorkshire.
Roger chaired the NP11, uniting 11 Northern LEPs to support the Government’s vision for the North. With nearly 40 years at PwC, 25 years as a Partner, including a role as Director-General Strategic Finance and Operations in the Cabinet Office, he has vast experience in business recovery, turnaround, and managing sensitive projects across various sectors.

Nicky Heathcote

Nicky Heathcote brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Non-Executive Director at PEXA in the UK. With a career spanning over 30 years in the public sector, Nicky has held several executive roles where she drove significant cross-government agendas, including digital transformation, housing, and international development. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Conveyancing Association and the Property Code Compliance Board (PCCB) Compliance Committee.
Her deep understanding of corporate governance, domestic and international policy, and stakeholder management makes her a valuable addition to the PEXA team. Nicky is also an ambassador and coach for NEDonBoard, underlining her commitment to excellence in board leadership and governance.

Tim Everest

Tim Everest is a transformational business leader with an extensive track record in leading, operating, and scaling business within complex, highly regulated environments. As a Non-Executive Director at PEXA, Tim brings his vast experience from prominent roles at Pay.UK, CHAPS, Bank of England, and Lloyds Banking Group, among others.
His expertise spans financial market infrastructures (FMI’s), payment systems, technology, and regulatory engagement. Tim is passionate about workforce education and building diverse and inclusive talent pipelines, focusing on strategic growth and operational excellence. His C-suite roles include achievements of leading the integration of CHAPS Co into the Bank of England and leading the delivery of Digital Cheque Imaging across UK financial services transforming the way cheques are processed in the UK.

Russell Cohen

Russell Cohen is a seasoned technology executive with more than 20 years of experience driving growth in the mobile, telecom and software industries across Asia Pacific. Prior to PEXA, Mr Cohen was the Group Managing Director of Operations at multinational technology company Grab, leading business performance, operations, platform safety, market expansion and a team of 3000 across seven countries. He also played a pivotal role in that company’s strategic growth throughout the region.
Before joining Grab, Mr Cohen served as Board Director and Vice President of Business Development &amp; Corporate Strategy at SoftBank C&amp;S in Tokyo, a role he assumed after SoftBank’s acquisition of Brightstar Corp. At Brightstar, he was Regional Managing Director for Asia, overseeing nine markets, and founded the company’s Greater China operations in Hong Kong. He holds a Master of Information Technology from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting &amp; Finance) from Monash University.

John Hooper

John joined PEXA in the UK as Independent Chair in August 2022 and has over 35 years involvement in banking and financial services. He continues to hold active positions as non-executive director on the boards of several financial services companies. During his career, John was an executive director at both Clydesdale Bank PLC and National Australia Bank Europe Limited. Whilst at National Australia Bank, he held a number of senior positions and was a member of its executive committee. John is also a Non-Executive Director of Together Money Personal Finance Limited where he Chairs the Board Risk Committee, as well as a Non-Executive Director of Stubbers Adventure Centre Limited and Stubbers Trading Limited.

Miguel Sard

Miguel brings over 20 years of extensive leadership experience in the banking and property sectors. Miguel will continue in his role as Chief Banking Officer at Shawbrook Bank, overseeing its consumer lending, savings and specialist mortgage propositions. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Homebuying and Ownership at NatWest, during which time he managed the bank’s ongoing implementation of its strategic partnership with PEXA. He also spent over 15 years in various roles at Santander, primarily as managing director for the Mortgage Division.
